Midwest Masters is again adding a Sunday Funday to the Ski Challenge Championships! With no Division racing Sunday, we are adding one two-run Super-G down Innsbruck through the cut and into the Helsinki finish, and a 2-run Slalom down Helsinki. NO MASTERS LICENSE REQUIRED! Even ifyou are not a Ski Challenge racer, come and make a full weekend out of it by skiing the “King & Queen of the Hel” race on Saturday with The Ski Challenge!
We will switch the SG (40m turns) to a “big GS” in the event of softer snow conditions. This would mean a single set down Innsbruck (27m - 30m turns), finishing in the Helsinki finish. PLEASE BE PREPARED WITH YOUR SKI SELECTION. You may use any length ski you wish;however, we will not allow anyone on SL skis to ski the SG. We recommend ~190CM skis for strong, larger skiers for SG. For smaller skiers, shorter GS skis will work fine!
